Our Private Fee-for-Service plan gives you the ability to choose your own doctors and specialists, who agree to accept our terms and conditions, without referrals anywhere in the country.

With our Private Fee-for-Service plan, you get*:

With a Private Fee-for-Service Plan you may go to any doctor or hospital anywhere in the country that is Medicare-approved, willing to provide care, and accepts Tufts Medicare Preferred's terms and conditions of payment. When you go to a doctor or hospital just remember to always inform the provider that you are enrolled in a Medicare Private Fee-for-Service plan.

Note: A Medicare Advantage Private Fee-for-Service plan works differently than a Medicare supplement plan. Your doctor of hospital is not required to agree to accept the plan's terms and conditions, and thus may choose not to treat you, with the exception of emergencies. If your doctor or hospital does not agree to accept our payment terms and conditions, they may choose not to provide health care services to you, except in emergencies.
